Anthony showed up exactly on time and replaced the keyless entry pad effortlessly and programmed the system. He walked my mother through the programming and did several tests with her on the various functions of the system. He answered all of her questions and did not leave until he knew she was comfortable with how the system worked. He tested her garage door to make sure it passed the safety tests. Anthony called me when the job was complete. I had already spoken with my mother and she was thrilled with the system and Anthony’s professionalism. I was able to make payment over the phone with a credit card. Three days later I received the actual invoice and receipt for payment I made. Door Systems was very efficient and professional. I trusted them with my mother’s home and her peace of mind and would use them again for sure.

The young lady who took my call was very polite and helpful. She informed me that all of the techs were busy this morning but she would try to get one out to my house just as soon as possible, possibly later that afternoon. I in no way expected same day service. Dustin called around 1:30 and informed that his GPS put him 30 minutes. He arrived on time; being on time is huge in my book. Dustin determined what the issue was and explained all the options. A decision was made and he went straight to work, finishing a short time later. The installer was very professional and made sure the job was cleaned up before he left. I contacted Door Systems through Angie’s List on Tuesday. A gentleman came over the next day and gave me a quote for three different doors. I made a choice on Thursday and the door was installed the following Tuesday because I chose a style they keep in stock. I would definitely use them again and recommend them!

Every day as I come and leave my home, there is always a smile. I truly enjoy my new garage doors. They certainly improve the look of my home, but the added sturdiness and quietness of operation is so pleasing. However, I would like to mention the installer, Dustin. He did a fantastic job. The day was cold and damp, the structure is old and required adaptations, but Dustin was a true professional. He worked at configuring the doors so they fit perfectly in my door spaces. Dustin and Brittany did a thoroughly beautiful and professional job in replacing our garage doors yesterday. They worked as a team and helped each other out when needed. Terry from Door Systems inspected the door for any worn out parts and replaced them. He also installed a seal on the edges to keep weather out during summer and winter. Terry was very punctual and professional and answered questions about the job itself and estimates for add ons or a new door. Terry was straight forward about what needed replaced and didn’t try to push any extras I didn’t need.

I had Door Systems replace two torsion springs on a garage door and all the rollers. The tech was friendly and answered my many questions well. Explained what he would do, arrived on time, and worked quickly. I added the replacement of the rollers and because he got everything done so quickly there was no extra service charge for replacing the rollers. Checked everything. Overall good technical job and professional. This company cost maybe 10% more than most others, but my guess is that they are smaller and hire better technicians which is the thing that matters.

[Door Systems] fixed a badly stuck metal, hinged door leading out of the basement to the patio. I could not use the door at all. The problem was likely caused by a slight foundation shift. A victim of the 3/27/14 hail storm, I found myself in need of new garage doors, door opening, as well as window wrap on 4 of my 9 front window openings. I chose Door Systems, Inc. because of a pervious experience with an atrium door lock issue in 2013 that was quickly resolved by John from DSI. John and I discovered that he and I had a connection through Boy Scouts that later led to him doing some volunteer maintenance work at the Bartle Scout Reservation.The estimate was quick and accurate - certainly appreciated by myself and my insurance carrier. After my custom ordered doors arrived, DSI quickly scheduled the repair. John and Terry arrived on time, and put in a full day on my windows and doors. The outcome was fabulous! The front windows worked match well those that weren't damaged. The garage doors look great, work great, and the cleanup after the work was done was immaculate. The front of my home has never looked better!They asked questions during the process to insure they were giving me exactly what I desired. It was a good day with excellent results. My house was burglarized, so I had to find a company that would come out and fix a residential door. Let me tell you, that was no easy task within itself! All of the companies that I called told me they would be glad to come out and fix my overhead door if I needed, but that was not the case. I stumbled upon Door Systems in the Yellow Pages where I had been looking most of the morning without luck. I spoke with a guy by the name of Jim Payne who assured me that he would have some one at my house by noon that day. 45 minutes later a Door Systems truck pulls up in front of my house. A guy gets out and introduces himself as John, pulls out a tape measure, and goes to work. The skill and craftsmanship he displayed was remarkable. He wasted no time with his saw, drill, and skills with a fully stocked truck that had whatever part he may have needed to do the job at hand. We have wooden garage doors with panels. A panel was loosened and, while the door would close, the loose panel was unsightly. We are getting the house ready to sell and this ended up being a quick fix. Door Systems came out the day after I called and had the problem fixed in 20 minutes. I had a broken door spring and called them for an estimate. They came out within one business day and I felt the work was done as quoted. They recommended some additional work and quoted it, like replacing both springs now since the other one was likely to fail soon. They also adjusted the sensors because they said they were too high for current regulations, replaced the seal on the bottom of the door at my request, and swapped the broken door strut on top of the door to the middle since they didn't have a new strut on the truck. I was very pleased with the work and the manner in which it was performed.

I called on Monday afternoon and told them we were under time pressure. They said they would send someone around 8am the next day and John arrived right on time. John fixed the outside steel security door that would not close because it was out of tune. John removed, adjusted, and reinstalled the frame - now it works perfectly. He fixed the sweep on a second steel door, adjusted the interior door that wasn't latching, and sprayed to eliminate squeaking in an interior door. He was very professional and fun to work with (I enjoyed his sense of humor). I'd definitely call them again if I had a door problem.

Dustin was very professional and patiently walked me through how I would open the door in case of a power outage. My old operator was very tricky to get disengaged from the door. He adjusted the disengager on the chain drive to as easy as possible and replaced both torsion springs and lubed the door. They were very professional on the work. I would use them again.

My garage door broke as I tried to open it and I couldn’t get my car out of the garage. I called Door Systems and they said they could have someone out in about 2-3 hours. The technician arrived on time and examined the door and told me what was needed and what the cost would be. Dustin replaced both torsion springs, lubed door, replaced screw drive carriage, and tested safety reverse settings. He had the door repaired within two hours at the cost quoted. He was very professional and explained what was being done. I would call Door Systems again if needed.
